My Angel

                       My Angel

         Light as a feather,
             is delicate my daughter dear
       Annoyed she gets
         a mention of her fear

I wish she was a little bolder,
to face the treats of life
       Today is not like yesterday,
     every day is a strife

     When I scold
   tears roll down her eyes
     But what I to do,
when the act is not so nice

I mend her not out of rage
but to teach how to deal life with courage
Who knows lest life
may stay grounded in siege

Her world is her Barbie, her Hannah
…. And the land of fairy
How shall she understand,
these thoughts are airy

All said and done,
she is my angel, she is my sweetheart
She is my cutie-pie,
about whom I have never to lie.
